Travel Funding
Blogfest.asia plans to provide travel funding for each participating country （except Malaysia). Blogfest.asia will provide:
1. Up to USD $500 for flight fares.
2. Local transportation (round trip airport-to-hotel & hotel-to-Blogfest.asia 2010 venue)
3. Two-night hotel accommodation.
4. 1 day tour of Penang 10 Icons Places
Blogfest.asia will also plan to provide partial financial support for qualified participants.
* Capacity: up to 20 people
* Participants will be responsible for his/her round trip flight fares.
* Local transportation (round trip airport-to-hotel & hotel-to-Blogfeat.asia 2010 venue)
* Two-night hotel accommodation.
* 1 day tour of Penang 10 Icons Places
You should submit your application and wait for the approval from blogfest.asia. The registration is open now.

Yes if you manage to get the “partial financial support”.
In any case, please fill the Travel Subsidy Application after you submitted your registration. The organising committee will evaluate each travel subsidy application and let you know if you will get full, partial or no travel subsidy.

Just an iquiry about on the Travel Subsidy Application what does it mean “Cheapest possible return air travel cost estimation in USD”.
Is it the round trip fare from the Philippines going to Penang Island Malaysia?
I’m interested to collaborate and interact with foreign people in this event.

You’re right Pvegetah. We wouldn’t want supported participants stranded in their countries before they come. Please submit your registration and travel subsidy application.

you just need to pay for your accommodation & travel expenses. Local transport from hotel to the venue will be provided.
